In contrast to the standard rack of the BMW CE 04 scooter, our engineers have arranged the rack, not on but behind the pillion seat. This leaves the pillion seat free for a passenger at all times. The solid carrier, elaborately made from precision steel tubes, inconspicuously follows the ascending line of the passenger seat, thereby fitting in seamlessly with the avant-garde design of the e-scooter. It is screwed onto the rear of the e-scooter using existing points on the frame. The rack fitted to it is made from high-grade aluminium. It features practical openings for lashing bags or other items of baggage. Hepco&Becker top cases with universal mounting plate can be mounted directly on the luggage rack. For the original Vario Topcase we offer separately our carrier for the Vario Topcase (41804-300).. Does not fit in conjunction with original BMW side bag holders. If the original Vario top case carrier was previously mounted, an additional cover 41804-500 is required. The MARATHON windshield is tilted towards the rider and has been aerodynamically designed in such a way that it effectively absorbs, softens and minimises turbulence. This relieves the strain on the head, shoulders and upper body. This is also thanks to the mechanical stability provided by the solid six-point attachment to the basic bracket as well as the fact that our windshields effectively minimise vibrations, noises and turbulence with their aerodynamically hand-polished, continuous edge. Overall, it is wider and higher than the original CE 04 tour windshield from BMW and provides perfect weather protection, regardless of the rider’s body size. BMW Ergonomics – Clutch Lever “VARIOLEVER – Adjustable”: The benchmark lever when it comes to ergonomics, operability and exclusivity! Our ergonomic clutch levers are characterised by four key features: The adjustable grip length (35 mm adjustment range) which also allows you to adjust the operating forces, the 6-stage adjustable gripping distance and the excellent finish, which can be traced back to the consistently high-quality mechanical manufacture and precision. This means our grips can be individually adjusted to your own needs, habits or preferences perfectly and precisely. The locking screw is loosened to set the grip length. The length of the solid milled grip’s swallow tail contour can then be continuously adjusted. The locking screw is then screwed back in. Adjustment of the grip length allows you to adjust the length of the clutch lever so that it can be operated with one, two, three or all four fingers. Alongside the preference for operating the lever with just one finger, this also allows you to adjust the operating forces or dosing by using the lever. The operating forces are reduced with a long lever (and long operating distance), or increased with a short lever and short operating distance. Another feature of the adjustability of the gripping distance that makes it possible to adjust the lever to the individual hand size/finger length. The gripping distance of the VarioLevers can also be adjusted while riding. An ergonomically optimal and handy dial lever on the top of the instrument panel lets you safely operate the turning mechanism to set the gripping distance even while wearing thick gloves. This is significantly important with a wandering pressure point (e.g. during sport or in demanding situations such as riding through passes. The light, compact, delicate structure is also dimensioned to make it extremely durable: Even when the lever is fully extended, forces of more than 600 N (equal to a tensile load of 60 kg) can be transferred to the extreme outer tip with no issue. This makes it possible to use the appropriate material: we use high-strength aluminium (AL 7075 T6), which is preferred for us in the aerospace industry. We anodise the lever in black. BMW Clutch Lever “VARIOLEVER”: The evolution in ergonomics, usability, safety and exclusivity: We have developed brake and clutch levers with adjustable lever length and reach that can be optimally adjusted to match your individual needs. Simply loosen the fixing screw and the lever length can be changed to suit your personal requirements. For the K 1600GA model with the very effective brake it would be ideal to have better feel with less applied force, i.e. reduced lever length. TheVarioLever makes it possible to brake using only two or three fingers without pinching the other fingers. An enormous relief for street, touring or racing applications. This also applies to the clutch lever. Of course, when the lever is completely extended (roughly corresponding to the length of the original lever) it is possible to brake with all four fingers again. Another innovation is the easy adjustability of the lever reach, which can easily be applied whilst riding – important to compensate for brake fade (e.g. at high load, fast mountain bends). In addition, the reach can be changed to bring the lever closer to the handlebar, making it easier to reach. This is made possible by a large rotating adjuster that can easily be operated even when wearing thick gloves. The extraordinarily intricate construction is also extremely robust: Even when the lever is fully extended, forces of more than 60 kg/132 lb can be transmitted without difficulty at the outer tip. The modular construction opens up a whole range of colour combination options. We’ve selected what we consider the most attractive colour combinations. Made of strong aluminium (AL 7075 T6), the preferred type for aerospace applications. ABE approved.
