Even when covered with dust and mud they provide secure footing. They offer plenty of grip – at the expense of comfort. Which is fine, up to a point. However, a solution that is ideal on rough terrain can quickly become uncomfortable in daily use or when riding without cross-boots. Unsightly damage to less robust footwear is also a possibility as the protruding tips of the metal footrests will leave their mark. And when manoeuvring with unprotected shins, there is always the risk of a painful injury. With this in mind, we have developed our rubber footrest pad for normal everyday use – for travelling, the daily commute to the office or simply riding around the city. Its profiled surface offers perfect grip. The pads are positively mounted and not only protrude over the edge of the original footrests but also surround them – so any shin contact is guaranteed to be painless! For sporty riders, we also offer the rests in a bevelled design. The delivery always comes with German Type approval. All parts are made from high-solidity aluminium and anodises in silver or black. The Vario joint, the Vario adapter and the desired footrest for each side are all required for complete assembly. The base of the system is the silver or black Vario joint that matches the corresponding vehicle model, with the joint being mounted on the footrest bracket in place of the footrest. This protection bar system consists of the engine protection bar and the fairing and tank protection bar. The engine protection bar not only reliably protects the cylinder and valve cover, but both lambda sensors too. The fairing and tank protection bar protects the tank and fairing of the stem as well as the radiator units. This protection bar systems forms a sophisticated all-round protection concept for passive safety: in the event of a crash or fall, the effective forces are optimally distributed across the structure of the protection bar and the durable attachment points, thus avoiding high forces and reducing the danger of expensive secondary damage. The engine protection bar is made of 25 mm precision stainless tubing, while the fairing and tank protection bar is made from a composite of 25 mm and 18 mm precision stainless steel tubing. The tube segments are formed and then clean welded on a CNC pipe bending machine. The clever silver powder-coated protection bar system integrates into the design of the bike on a visual level and highlights the design of your BMW. The frictional resistance: The second positive property is the frictional resistance, which increases from the outside to the inside due to the component geometry due to the increase in the effective sliding surface. This means that our axle protection pad only offers low frictional resistance when touched lightly, but shortens the grinding phase in terms of time and space, for example in the case of longer, grinding road contact. This means that in the event of a fall with an axle protection pad, the time in which the motorcycle slips and the slip path itself are shortened. When riding over ramps or impacts, the engine guard may flex and press against this sensitive component. Since the sensor is made of plastic, it cannot withstand such force. If it breaks, oil leakage can occur – with negative consequences for both the machine and the environment. To prevent this, forces must be transferred from the engine guard directly to the oil sump over the widest possible area. That is precisely what our oil level sensor guard does: it creates a secure chamber around the sensor and isolates it from mechanical stress. The result: the sensor is well protected, and the risk of damage and breakdown is significantly reduced. This guard is compatible with both the Wunderlich and BMW OEM engine guards. Installation uses existing mounting points – one via direct bolting and one using a spring steel bracket. The cable channel features a small drainage opening to evacuate splash or standing water, such as after water crossings. The rubber is shaped and vulcanized onto the steel plate under heat and pressure, providing excellent vibration damping due to its Shore-specific hardness.
